*Advanced written and verbal proficiency in English
In order to effectively communicate with U.S. students, parents and school colleagues, VIF teachers must be fluent in English.
*Valid driver's license with 2 years of recent driving experience
VIF teachers must have a driver's license with 2 years of driving experience by August 2008.
*3 years of teaching and/or related professional experience
VIF teachers must have 3 years of teaching and/or related professional experience.
*A degree and teacher training
VIF applicants must have a degree, or be currently completing a degree.
